How Long Do You Need to See The Physiotherapist For Your Knee Pain To Improve?
There is no definitive answer for how long your body take time to heal the injury that you have been giving it but I generally give 4 to 8 weeks for an acute knee pain to reduce, to restore the normal function.
In a active rehabilitation, it takes about 2 months for your body, muscle & joint to grasp the new management, the healing process. But again, it varies for everyone depending on the severity of knee pain, how long is the injury/pain & the age factor.
Conclusion
As a summary of all of above, Physiotherapy Management is a combination of pain relief for muscle healing, individualize exercise regime for strengthening & muscle activation, education for self-correction & awareness, lifestyle correction & prevention.
PLEASE ASK YOURSELF:
Why drag and sick up something that can be healed, corrected & move back to function as normal within 4 weeks to 8 weeks to a Chronic condition that need you to go under knife?
